What is a Direct Plan?
Direct Plans are investments in Mutual Funds made without the help of a distributor. The Securities and Exchange Board of India has made it mandatory for fund houses to offer direct plans to their investors. Direct Plan’s expense ratios are relatively lower as they do not have commissions or distribution expenses.
